FORTHEM online course: Visual and Digital Cultures

A new course, taught entirely in English, will open in Fall 2025 in the UFR Langues et Communication, thanks to Université Bourgogne Europe’s partnership with the FORTHEM Alliance: “Visual and Digital Cultures.”

This course is open to L2 and L3 LLCER / LEA students and, more importantly, to international students. The class runs for 12 hours during the fall semester and is worth 2 ECTS credits. It will be taught remotely via Microsoft Teams from Monday, 15 September 2025, to November 2025, with sessions every Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The course is composed of two short modules taught by different professors. Each module includes an assessment through contrôle continu (continuous assessment during the semester). You will find the syllabi and calendar for Fall 2025 attached.

The class is open to 10 international students, and registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
