International Winter School at Bordeaux Montaigne University – Last Days to Apply!
The International Relations Office of Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu is pleased to share an exciting opportunity for ULBS students: the first edition of the International Winter School at Bordeaux Montaigne University, taking place 16–27 February 2026.
There are only a few days left for students to apply, so we encourage all those interested to take advantage of this immersive academic and cultural experience in one of France’s most vibrant cities.
What Does the Winter School Offer?
Over the course of two intensive weeks, international participants will attend English-taught academic courses covering:

French culture
-
Geography
-
History
-
Literature
Students will also take French language classes at the Department of French as a Second Language (DEFLE), with a special regional focus throughout the programme. All levels are welcome, including complete beginners in French.
Cultural & Social Programme
In addition to academic activities, the Winter School includes a rich cultural agenda:

Guided visits to Musée d’Aquitaine, Cité du Vin, and Bassin des Lumières

A wine-tasting workshop

A day trip to Saint-Émilion
-
Social activities and events designed to create connections with students from around the world
At the end of the programme, participants will receive a certificate of participation and 3 ECTS credits.
Special Reduced Fee for ULBS Students
Thanks to the partnership between ULBS and Bordeaux Montaigne University, our students benefit from a discounted participation fee of 1400 EUR (standard fee: 1900 EUR).
