Blended Summer School in Mechanical Engineering & Energy Technology – Germany, July 2026



THM University of Applied Sciences (Germany) invites students from partner institutions to apply for the Blended Summer School in Mechanical Engineering & Energy Technology, taking place in July 2026.

The programme combines mandatory online lectures in June with an on-site summer school from 3–17 July 2026 in Germany. It is open to undergraduate students, who may choose one of the following two learning tracks:

  • Track A: Applied AI in Engineering & Sustainable Fuels

  • Track B: Technical Design & Vehicle Dynamics

The summer school is free of charge for students from partner universities and may award 7.5 ECTS credits.

Programme Highlights

Participants will benefit from:

  • Interactive courses taught by academic and industry experts

  • Close interaction with German students and companies

  • Field trips to regional cities in Germany

  • A dedicated social and cultural programme

The mobility can be funded through the Erasmus+ Blended Mobility programme.

Practical Information

  • Duration:

    • Online component: 2–3 mandatory online sessions (June 2026)

    • On-site component: 3–17 July 2026

  • Application deadline: 31 January 2026
    (Later applications may be accepted if places remain available)

  • Places: Limited – early application is recommended
