Erasmus+ BIP, Clear Vision, Clear Communication: Presentation Skills for Health Sciences

This hybrid course focus on how to communicate scientific results in the field of Health Sciences both to the scientific community and to the public in general.

Participants will learn the importance of communicating research results in their areas and how body language and non-verbal communication may help or hinder their efforts.

Different communication tools (oral communication, posters, comics, etc…) shall be reviewed and implemented in conferences and workshops.

The problem of how to inform about diagnoses and possible treatments in the area of health sciences, both to patients and their relatives shall be addressed in a specific workshop.

The BIP will be held in Valencia from 1st of September to 5, 2025. The virtual component will take place before the celebration of the BIP, and consists of two on-line sesions in June (26th – 27th). Sessions will be mainly in the morning, leaving the afternoons for participants to develop teamwork and enjoy the social programm.

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students from any university in the Forthem alliance (except first year undergraduate students).

This course is part of the Erasmus+BIP (Blended Intesive Programm). Students taking part in the course are awarded 3 ETCS credits.
