FORTHEM Researcher Grand Prix
On November 6th, the first edition of the FORTHEM Researcher Grand Prix, hosted by the University of Agder, will show research projects in a completely new, entertaining and engaging way.
Inspired by the Norwegian science festival Forskningsdagene, the event brings together early career researchers from six FORTHEM universities (Opole, Riga, Mainz, Jyväskylä, Agder, Dijon) to compete for the FORTHEM Researcher Grand Prix.
Each participant will be asked to prepare a four-minute pitch of his or her research project and then present it to a jury, in front of a live audience. It will also be broadcasted live. The winner will be determined via jury and (live and remote) audience vote.
You can join the Grand Prize, get new and inspiring insights into different research fields and support your favorite team by linking to it online on the day! At each of the partner Universities there will be watch-along event you can attend:
- Opole – OPO Cafe at 7 p.m.
- Mainz – Campus Infobox (Johannes von Müller Weg) at 7 p.m.
- Jyväskylä – Tietoniekka, Lähde at 8 p.m.
- Dijon – Salle Agora, CORTEX, at 7p.m.
- ULBS D-School at 8 p.m
