Online Courses Offered by the University of Agder through the FORTHEM Alliance
University of Agder is offering two online courses available to students from partner universities within the FORTHEM Alliance. These courses are delivered in a digital format and provide academic credits upon successful completion.

Inclusive Education from a Special Education Perspective: An Introduction to Policy and Practice
This interactive micro-course introduces students to the fundamental principles and practices of inclusive education and its relationship with special education. Through a combination of asynchronous learning materials and synchronous discussions, participants will explore key concepts and critically examine historical developments, current challenges, and policy frameworks related to inclusive education.

Sustainable Education for Equity and Democracy
This course focuses on the principles and practices of sustainable education, with an emphasis on equity, democratic participation, and active citizenship. Students will be introduced to key concepts in sustainability, democracy, and citizenship education, and will learn how to identify, analyse, and address barriers to sustainable education through real-world case studies.
