How do we teach the skills of the future? Customer discovery in the era of AI
An event inspired by the Innovation Labs model, Romania’s leading university-based tech startup accelerator (Innovation Labs program helps students and early-stage founders turn ideas into viable products through a selection hackathon, followed by a pre-acceleration journey that combines mentorship, workshops, bootcamps, and exposure to the entrepreneurial ecosystem).
The session will be delivered by Flavia Husar, Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Innovation Labs. Flavia has over 12 years of experience across product, design, and innovation. Alongside her role at Innovation Labs, she has led enterprise product teams and has worked in AI product environments, including at FLOWX.AI.
The session will offer:
- an overview of how Innovation Labs develops future-ready entrepreneurial and innovation skills through hands-on, learning-by-doing experiences,
- practical perspectives on customer discovery, including how teams identify real user needs, test assumptions, and shape products that people actually want; this closely reflects the program’s focus on turning technical ideas into products with real market relevance,
- insights into how AI and emerging technologies can be combined with product thinking, experimentation, and user validation in order to build relevant and scalable solutions,
- examples from Flavia Husar’s own experience across product, design, innovation, and enterprise AI, including her work leading cross-functional teams and scaling complex products, as well as mentoring founders through Innovation Labs,
- inspiration for educators, trainers, and innovation support professionals interested in teaching product thinking, validation, and entrepreneurial skills in the age of AI.
